My neighbour who happens to be my wife's friend is in trouble. The husband keeps threatening her that he will one day do something very bad to her. As I write this question, she is putting up with a friend since the husband PROMISED to hurt her very soon. This was after she found him with another woman at a neighbouhood joint. They have two kids but I dont think they are formally married. She reported the case to police but she was only asked to write a statement and then go back home. I really feel bad about what she is going through but am so helpless since I dont know what advise to give and I also dont want to be at the centre of the whole thing. Can somebody offer some reasonable advise which I can pass to her? I dont want to die with guilt (if the worst happens to her) for having not done whatever I could to help.
